Lawn Care Services
Williams Lawn Service will service your lawn on a weekly basis for the months of April – November (late March and early December as needed). Your service will be scheduled on the same day of each week. In the event of inclement weather, service will be scheduled for the next available day. We will work toward getting your lawn service back on its scheduled day as best as possible.
Our lawn maintenance service includes the following:
- Mowing with a variety of mowers utilizing regularly sharpened blades
- Edging all driveways and sidewalks
- String trimming around house, mulch beds, fences and trees
- Cleaning off of driveways, sidewalks, porches, patios and other concrete areas
- And more!
Mowing tall is very important to the health of your lawn. If you mow your grass too short it is very easy for your grass to burn out in hot, dry weather. We recommend mowing at three inches or higher during the summer months. Remember to give your lawn at least one inch of water each week, if not two inches during hot, dry weeks. If at all possible, water in the early morning. Avoid midday watering due to evaporation and night watering due to potential increased chances of some diseases and fungi.
Feel free to call and plan ahead for the good feeling of knowing your lawn is attended to while out of town on business, a vacation, or busy with the daily schedule. Whether it is once per season or one to two times monthly. Just give us a 48-hour notice and we will make every attempt to schedule you in.
Bi-weekly service is offered, however, highly not recommended especially in the faster growing part of the season (typically April – June). Your yard growth may vary due to a variety of conditions i.e., watering and chemical/fertilizing schedules, etc. We will not cut your grass shorter than the standard, which recommends only cutting 1/3 off of the grass height each mow. Two weeks of growth is too much to cleanly cut in most cases and bi-weekly mowing tends to have problems and complaints such as: grass clumps, excessive grass clippings laying on yard, and possibly the appearance of rough cut. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee our bi-weekly services as we do with the weekly cuts and in most cases will not send a crew back to correct these types of problems on bi-weekly accounts.

Sidewalk and Driveway Edging
Edging provides that crisp, clean edge around all areas and connections on your property. It’s the finishing touch.
Spring and Fall Core Aeration
Why Aerate? Compacted soil and heavy thatch are the two biggest obstacles to a beautiful lawn. The break up of soil compaction will help thicken your lawn by allowing air, water and nutrients to penetrate deep to the root zone. This process involves pulling the cores or “plugs” from the soil. Aeration should be performed at least once(September or October)and in some cases twice per year.
Over seeding is recommendation and provided in the Spring or Fall. This can be done alone or in combination with core aeration.
Recommended for lawns that have been neglected, that have bare areas or are just too thin. Can be very effective if homeowner continues the after care and costs much less than re-sodding. This process utilizes a machine that slices into the ground and then drops the seed. Used to renovate a lawn or to thicken existing lawns.
