MULCH
Mulch should be put down when planting flowers, perennials, bedded plants and almost everything in between. Flowers, shrubs and trees all benefit mulch when they are first planted and regularly refreshing and turning over thereafter. Mulch also protects protected your plants and shrubs from frost and cold when we have early or late winters.
TOPSOIL
You may need new topsoil when planting flowers straight into the soil or if you are planting new grass or re-seeding your lawn. New topsoil will give your pants and grass seed a rich, natural start. Just what it needs.
